Healthy breakfast ideas: Poha eggs; 5 protein-rich foods to start the day right

Your morning routine sets the tone for the rest of the day, and making the right choices early in the day could lead you to a healthier lifestyle. Eating a protein-rich breakfast is not only the perfect way to feel awake and alert, but also to achieve your productivity and weight loss goals.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one can benefit from having plenty of protein in the morning. A low-protein breakfast can make you feel sluggish unlike a high-protein breakfast which helps your body and brain function well and helps you stay alert. This allows you to start your day off on the right foot and reach your work goals faster.

Eating protein for breakfast can also keep you full for a long time and stave off mid-morning cravings, which could help you reach your weight loss goals. UK-based evidence-based nutritionist Manisha Morgan suggests protein-rich foods to start your day.
